Upcycling partnerships and regenerating unused resources

We propose a collaborative business aimed at building a circular society that transforms “unused resources” into new and valuable products through our fermentation technology and know how. We will work with companies aiming to realize SDGs and a circular society to create valuable goods from unused resources.

We used non-standard candies that came out of the manufacturing process. We assisted Kanro develop its first non-food product.

We used the residue of cooked rice that came out the manufacturing process of Nichirei’s “Yaki Onigiri”. We accelerated Nichireo’s inroads into pursuing a sustainable business by upcycling the cooked rice residue.

We used Japanese millet bran and some other untapped local materials. Product development focusing on collaboration with local communities, farmers and manufacturers in the Tohoku area.

Zojirushi Corporation

We used the cooked rice that came out during the development process of the rice cooker. We realized new product development by upcycling raw materials derived from Zojirushi's main business.
