We are pleased to announce that Fermenstation has been selected for a demonstration project worth approximately 500 million yen under the second call of the SBIR Phase 3 Fund Program (Small and Medium Enterprise Innovation Creation Promotion Project by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries).

The SBIR Phase 3 program is a large-scale technology demonstration fund designed to promote the social implementation of advanced technologies developed by startups.

Fermenstation’s project, titled “Mass Production Demonstration of Upcycled Green Food Materials Utilizing Unutilized Biomass Fermentation Technology,” was successfully selected.

With this funding, we will further accelerate the technological development aimed at large-scale social implementation of our unutilized biomass fermentation technology.
