An impact report is a document that objectively and, where possible, quantitatively visualizes how an organization addresses social issues (goals), what systems and actions it implements to tackle them (models and activities), and the outcomes it achieves (impact).
Many B Corp certified companies – including Fermenstation – publish such reports (under various titles) annually as a way to transparently share their efforts and progress.
Impact reports are intended for a wide range of stakeholders, including direct and indirect beneficiaries (such as the general public), funders (investors, financial institutions, etc.), internal team members, and others involved in or affected by the business.
